Engine 12 is a 2005 International cab, with a Smeal body. The apparatus features a 1000 gallon water tank, a 1250 GPM pump, and a full complement of firefighting tools. Engine 12 also carries some specialized items such as a portable dump tank, and a portable water pump. These items are used for flowing water when we respond to fires in areas with no municipal water systems. Engine 12 is considered our reserve engine and only responds on calls when Engine 1 is out of service, or the specialized tools are needed on a specific call.
