Engine 11, Engine 12, and Deputy Chief 1 responded to a reported residential structure fire at Shafer Road and Walnut Street yesterday afternoon. Engine 1 arrived on scene and found heavy fire coming from the front of the residence on arrival. Crews stretched multiple hand lines and operated on scene for several hours until bringing the fire under control.
